Beat the Banker

It’s not an easy task these days to beat the banker but this was a different type of a night, it was fun and laughter as well as raising money for the Donegal Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre in Letterkenny.  The event took place in the Silver Tassie in association with Lee Gooch Promotions on Thursday 16th June 2011.

beatbanker

The show gave people the chance to test their nerve against the unseen but all powerful banker.  DEAL OR NO DEAL – YOU DECIDE, the show was computerised with twenty-two plus “live” telephone calls from the Banker during each round. There were four rounds. Prizes in each round vary but potentially, a chance to win €1,000

This is the one where you always know what you’d do if you were in the hot seat – well, this was the opportunity to have a chance to experience just that. If you fancy your chances.

Four guests took the hot seat including the newly elected Councillor Paschal Blake.

The main sponsors of the nights event were the Grand Central Letterkenny, 4 Lanterns Restaurant and the Glackin Business Institute, not forgetting the game sponsors which included Morris Brothers Ltd, Greene’s Shoes, Ferry’s Refuge and Brendan Watters Insurance, Dundalk.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in this successful event.
